You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Andinobates cassidyhornae requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://amphibiaweb.org/cgi/amphib_query?rel-common_name=like&rel-family=equals&rel-ordr=equals&rel-intro_isocc=like&rel-description=like&rel-distribution=like&rel-life_history=like&rel-trends_and_threats=like&rel-relation_to_humans=like&rel-comments=like&max=200&orderbyaw=Genus%2Bspecies&include_synonymies=Yes&show_photos=Yes&species_accounts=&rel-scientific_name=contains&where-scientific_name=Andinobates+cassidyhornae&rel-genus=equals&where-genus=&rel-species=equals&where-species=&where-common_name=&where-clade=&where-subfamily=&where-family=any&where-ordr=any&rel-isocc=occurs+in&where-isocc=&rel-species_account=matchboolean&where-species_account=&rel-declinecauses=equals&where-declinecauses=&rel-iucn=begins+with&where-iucn=&rel-cites=equals&where-cites=&author=. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. @Sphilbrick Hi, thank you for contacting me. I just wanted to ask how is it a copyright? I wrote the text using my own words and sentence structures based on the text I cited in referenced. Therefore, it is not copied and it is cited. How is it a copyright then? And the image used is from Wikimedia Commons therefore I can use it in the article (as far as I know). BioRB (talk) 11:58, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It looks to me like you started with this page and made some changes but the text added includes many multiple word passages identical to the source. I see it as a close paraphrase. S Philbrick(Talk) 12:16, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. My IP address is 178.255.168.17. I was fighting vandal(s) by deleting their rapid undo anti-vandal bot edits and vulgarisms etc and suddenly got blocked. I am using 1 IP address and I am not using VPN. Reason for the block please? BioRB (talk) 16:22, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Confirmed P2P proxy. See Template:Blocked p2p proxy fore more details. Yamla (talk) 16:41, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
