I think I agree with you. I was busy trying to tidy up German locomotive articles on English Wikipedia and realised after I had made this move that I had overlooked the fact that this is about the whole train, not just the power head (unlike, IIRC, the ICE 2??). So I apologise for the oversight and happy for you to move it back. Presumably it's just a simple undo? Regards.

Split ICE article[edit]

I agreed your line and took the proposed split out. We just need to ensure that the Lists of DB, DBAG, etc locos that I have translated, link to the right individual loco/train pages. Just translating the German link doesn't always work if the individual loco pages are differently arranged or named. It's a bit of detective work really, which is fun!

BTW, joining the task force doesn't commit you to any heavy workload. Just keeping an eye on your pages of interest, making comments and corrections is fine. Keep the good work up! Regards. --Bermicourt (talk) 18:25, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

High-speed lines[edit]

Hi,

I'm trying to tidy up the (now over 1000) articles on German railways as part of the Wiki project "Rail transport in Germany". I've drafted some suggested conventions on the talk page. One of these is to standardise all railway line titles to "xxxx railway". In the case of high-speed lines, most of the titles say "xxxx high-speed rail line". 'Rail line' is not really that common a term. As you are the project expert on this area, do you have any objection to moving the articles to "xxxx high-speed railway" ?
