There were two problems I saw with your closure of this Articles for Deletion (AfD) discussion:
- You had participated in the discussion yourself by recommending "delete", and AfDs are supposed to be closed by a non-involved person.
- You attempted to close the deletion as "delete", but only an administrator can delete an article. (In some situations it's appropriate for a non-administrator to close an AfD as "keep" because no administrative action is required, but a non-admin should not close an AfD as "delete".)
I agree with you that the Young India Party article should be deleted, but someone else will have to close the AfD as "delete". --Metropolitan90 (talk) 03:59, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
