Hello[edit]

In response to your query on my talk page, I am incapable of granting any permissions to anyone as I am not an administrator or other such sysop. However, any registered account can upload images. You absolutely must own the copyright to the image, meaning it has to be something to created yourself (not something you found online) and you have to add the proper license tag to it. It could also be a US Federal Government image, since those are all in the public domain. Click "upload file" on your left and follow the directions. <>Multi‑Xfer<> (talk) 08:07, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, not I. Have fun on Wikipedia! <>Multi‑Xfer<> (talk) 06:50, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Press Photo of Tyler Read.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Press Photo of Tyler Read.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Angus McLellan (Talk) 19:05, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
