Just a quick note to say that you please shouldn't sign your contributions on articles with four tildes (~). This should only be done on the talk pages of articles. In other words, don't sign on Evolutionary psychology but DO sign on Talk:Evolutionary psychology. Cheers, Mikker ... 01:33, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
Thanks Mikker, I am learning how to do this, so any suggestion is appreciated.BarryCull 06:21, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
- :) Don't mention it! If you have any questions, please just ask! (note: I may not answer too quickly since my net access is a bit restricted at the moment unfortunately.) Concerning "Evolutionary Psychologists" vis "evolutionary psychologists" (like here): I realise you're adopting Buller's terminology and though I think it makes sense, I don't think we should follow it here on wikipedia because it is a bit specialised. People who haven't read Buller won't know what we're talking about. Also, you clearly agree with the "general intelligence" model (instead of the modularity model). That's fine (tho I disagree! :), but WE can't settle the issue in the article (like your sentence "The view is well supported by data from cognitive psychology." does). Please see our policy on the neutral point of view. (the important bit: "The neutral point of view is a means of dealing with conflicting views. The policy requires that, where there are or have been conflicting views, these are fairly presented, but not asserted. All significant points of view are presented, not just the most popular one. It is not asserted that the most popular view or some sort of intermediate view among the different views is the correct one. Readers are left to form their own opinions."). I have proposed that the article Sensory integration dysfunction be merged into an article you have been involved in editing. If you are interested in the merge discussion, please participate by going to the Talk page for Sensory processing disorder (click this link to go there), and adding your comments on that discussion page. Thank you. Popsup (talk) 20:25, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
