A tag has been placed on User:Bargyy/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. MER-C 12:05, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Logicalis UK, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.linkedin.com/company/logicalis-uk.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Speedy deletion nomination of Logicalis UK[edit]

Hello Bargyy,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Logicalis UK for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Vanjagenije (talk) 13:26, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, please add your messages to the bottom of the talk page, or they may be overlooked. I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. It's sourced only to the company, obviously not independent
  • the article was a copyright violation. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. I understand that you are getting permission to use the page, but until you have a relevant OTRS ticket to show that they have released the content for any purpose, including commercial, best not to post the copyrighted text, which isn't acceptable anyway. Until then, note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.
  • But in any case the copyrighted text is far too promotional to be useful for Wikipedia's purposes. It was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of spammy claims presented as fact without independent sources include: that designs, builds and supports ICT solutions... highly trained... partnerships with technology leaders... one of the leading IT and Communications solution... Logical's (sic) vision is to be considered the best IT solutions and services company in the UK... Logicalis aims to achieve this through innovation, quality and commitment to first class service... aim to provide business value and build strategic relationships with its customers based on trust and loyalty through outstanding quality, value and service... Logicalis' ultimate purpose is to be the very best at what it does through technology and service innovation... aim to work with its partners with total integrity and to add value to the business through the quality and intimacy of the relationships with its customers... Logicalis aim to employ the best people of ability and integrity, who are committed to Logicalis' principles and goals. Logicalis aim to recognise individual contributions and reward the contributions fairly... Logicalis aim to increase profitability every year to enable the chance to invest in activities consistent with its ultimate purpose... and much, much more. Pure spam
  • You have an obvious conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about this subject. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that your organisation is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Logicalis UK, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mean as custard (talk) 18:26, 25 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
