hi Baerentp, We both reverted a vandalised edit at the same time, and yours went thought first. As such my edit reverted yours. I have restored the edit to the stable version and removed the message on your talk page. Apologies. Have a good day. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 09:43, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • No problem - and thanks very much for prompt reaction fixing my "clean sheet" talk page :-) Baerentp (talk) 09:48, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 11[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited TI-class supertanker, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page IMO (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:24, 11 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:2013 Eberswalde Finow Zlin accident roll initiated.png[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:2013 Eberswalde Finow Zlin accident roll initiated.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:02, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have now edited the article to reference his divorce and re-marriage. Best wishes Daemonickangaroo2018 (talk) 15:04, 24 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:14, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback granted[edit]

Hi Baerentp. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~ Amory (utc) 19:48, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Changes[edit]

I fail to understand why you reverted my edits to The Neverending story. I can assure you that as I directed the film, the changes I made are correct. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.28.31.222 (talk) 12:49, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello 92.28.31.222, my reply serves to record the facts too - your information above is not entirely correct. The article was not The Neverending Story as referenced by you - the article in question was The NeverEnding Story (film). The revert in question was what reverted this edit made by you. Reverting your edit was based on the fact that you did not supply any source for a very radical change in a text that has been unchallenged for years. Please see WP:PILLARS for further.
If you have further questions, please let me know --Baerentp (talk) 18:19, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on your user page, User talk:I Eat Salad, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Apologies for that. It arose because a user had redirected its User page to its talk page and you were the firts to edit the talk page. Huggle got itself into a knot. Regards  Velella  Velella Talk   14:10, 12 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You do realise that I only changed it because April only has 30 days, & not 31 days. In which case, how can he be born on a day that doesn't exist?. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.111.195.227 (talk) 18:14, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

78.111.195.227, You are absolutely correct - I misunderstood your double date change. I see you already made a new edit (thanks) - I have removed the warning from your talk page. Apologies --Baerentp (talk) 19:04, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Joe Mansueto wedding year edit[edit]

Hi Baerentp,

I changed the wedding year on the Joe Mansueto page because after reading one of the sources already on the article (The Quiet Billionaire article in Chicago Magazine) I realized the year should have been 1998 not 1988. The URL for the article with the correct year is: http://www.chicagomag.com/Chicago-Magazine/June-2006/The-Quiet-Billionaire/.

I should have added the source at the end of the sentence but forgot, apologies. Can you change it back to what I had it as (1998) and add that as the source?

Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.99.16.210 (talk) 16:44, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for the update and no problem - I have changed year of wedding and added source as per your instructions. You can view the edit here.
Please let me know if you have any further questions - happy editing, --Baerentp (talk) 23:31, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
