Wikipedia is not a social network
I have been noticing that you have spent most of your time awarding Barnstars to other users on their talk pages and/or editing your userpage. Wikipedia is not a social network or a webhost, and excessive awarding of barnstars cheapen their value. Please consider doing some work in the article space; excessive edits to user talk pages or your own user page is often frowned upon. You can see the task center for ideas on what you can work on to improve the encyclopedia. If you need help, please feel free to ask me anytime. Best, #prodraxis connect 15:33, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
- After I have warned you, I have seen you award a barnstar to an editor for solely making a single minor category edit [1] on a certain article at [2]. Please stop this; excessive awarding of barnstars cheapen their value as I stated above, and this can be seen as being disruptive and trying to use Wikipedia as a social network or forum. Barnstars should only be awarded for substantial contributions (say, writing an especially well written article, expanding a vital article to WP:GA or WP:FA, expanding a coverage of a certain topic greatly, extensive maintenance/backlog clearing work etc.) not single edits. #prodraxis connect 20:09, 6 November 2023 (UTC)

How to get green text for quotes
Your post at AN/I mentioned you didn't know how to do this. Use {{tq}}, which is a redirect to {{Talk quote inline}}. Of course, you can use 'Talk quote inline' if you like, but tq's easy to remember (stands for talk quote) and quicker to type. Quotes will come out looking like this.

Peanut-gallery comments
Hi, Babysharkboss2. I've noticed you making a lot of comments at WP:AN/I that simply restate another editor's previous comment, signal your agreement without adding anything, or "state the obvious". AN/I is a tense noticeboard, and a very unpleasant place for most editors to be taken to. Every comment that is added that doesn't work toward resolving the conflict will tend to raise tensions, or at a minimum to waste the time of everyone who reads it. I see that you are a fairly new editor, and it's great to see enthusiasm by our newer editors toward user conduct matters! But people come to AN/I because they are expecting to have their concerns addressed by admins and other very experienced users, and when other editors spend too much time there, they often wind up regretting it. I'd encourage you to focus more on gaining experience in lower-stakes areas of the project—particularly content creation and talkpage discussion—before spending so much time at AN/I. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|she) 18:39, 21 November 2023 (UTC)
- alright, thanks. I just wanted to help, but didn't really know what to say that would be helpful on the ANI. Thank you again, and I think i'll just kinda monitor it.
