Firstly, I don't like this kind of "warning messages" which sent to my talk page. Please know that. I'm patrol on Turkish Wikipedia. [1] I know the neutral point of view policy very well. And you should know that the island's status must be written like my revision due to the neutral point of view policy. There isn't any UN source/document stating that the island belongs to Greece. In addition, I would like to point out that the island was claimed by Turkey with the announcement which on October 29, 2023. At this stage, claiming that the island belongs to Greece is violating the policy of neutrality. Thank you. Ata Barış (talk) 21:49, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The English Wikipedia has its own rules and is independend to the Turkish Wikipedia. As an editor in the English Wikipedia, you are bound to follow the English Wikipedia's guidelines regarding the changes you are trying to make. Please familiarize yourself with WP:FIVEPILLARS and it is recommended that you try discuss your differences with other editors you may be having, on the relevant article's talk page instead of edit warring over the changes you are trying to make, and which are evidently lacking the required WP:CONSENSUS for them to be accepted as is. Wikipedia doesn't reflect on irredendist and nationalist policies of governments, reflects only on actual facts. The island of Zourafa is considered by the international community to be part of Greece, like it or not. Any turkish claims both on Greek FIR and on Greek islands are already covered on the article dedicated to the matter: Aegean dispute.
Keep in mind that the island article of Zourafa is about the island itself, not about the Turkey's expansionist doctrines, and it subject to the WP:AE discretionary sanctions. Please read WP:BALKANS for more info on what the English Wikipedia's community has decided on articles that geographically fall within Eastern Europe. Thank you and have a good day. --- SilentResident (talk ✉ | contribs ✎) 10:44, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Dear user, as you know, the WP:NPOV is one of the fundamental principle of Wikipedia and the purpose is the same in all languages. I didn't claim that the island belonged to Turkey. I didn't use any nationalist language. I did not violate WP:NPOV. But you're ignoring WP:GF by claiming that I think so. Also, you said "Turkey's expansionist doctrines" it's your own point of view and completely biased. Ata Barış (talk) 22:07, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
