Categories

[edit]

All the people that you are currently categorising as Tuscan, such as Fra Angelico, have already been categorised more precisely under people from Tuscany as being specifically from the Province of Florence. You will find them all there, if you look at the list. When categorising, it's generally advised to be specific if possible. I advise seeking more expert advice on this before proceeding. Amandajm (talk) 11:30, 17 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that a lot of the people that you have sorted into this category are famous as Tuscans. Some of the provinces, like Florence are well known, but, as you say, others are not. Don't change them back. If anyone complains, let me know. I think the bigger category is better thatn lots of small ones. Amandajm (talk) 00:05, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've left a message on that talk page about his name. Perhaps you could have a chat to the head curator of the museum in Vinci, who has access to the records and would know exactly how Leonardo's father and grandfather referred to themselves. Amandajm (talk) 01:35, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding links to common terms in this article, per WP:OVERLINK. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 18:55, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Che Ti Dice La Patria?

[edit]

Hi, I'm Whiteghost.ink. Assianir, thanks for creating Che Ti Dice La Patria?!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Could you please add some references or footnotes? Without them we can't independently prove that the topic is genuine. And, if possible, could you add some info about the story itself? Thanks.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Hello again Assianir, I have added a little more information about the story, a reference and some links, including ones to The Complete Short Stories of Ernest Hemingway and Ernest Hemingway bibliography. As you say, other people will continue to improve this article. Thanks for creating it. You have made the The Hemingway articles more complete. Whiteghost.ink (talk) 23:41, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Grazie molto per la tazza di caffè! Sarebbe bello avere il tuo articolo in italiano Wikipedia. Puoi tradurre? Whiteghost.ink (talk) 08:56, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Despicable Me (franchise), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indian language (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Trasferimenti e itwikipedia

[edit]
