Speedy deletion of Dsrl[edit]

A tag has been placed on Dsrl, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. February 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Dsrl. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Noah 05:12, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Dsrl[edit]

I have nominated Dsrl, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dsrl. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Gromlakh (talk) 05:13, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Dsrl has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dlohcierekim Deleted? 05:15, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dsrl looks like nonsense[edit]

Looks like nonsense, but I will restore and let it go through the AfD. Dlohcierekim Deleted? 05:22, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AFD[edit]

The article is under discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dsrl. Dlohcierekim Deleted? 05:33, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You are welcome. You are going to have to work hard though finding verifiable sources (WP:V) that assert notability (WP:N). The only news coverage I found was about the Manning ad. Cheers, and happy editing. Dlohcierekim Deleted? 05:57, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Applemac, you have "kept" twice. Here and Here. Sorry, only one per editor. We need to strike one. Cheers, Dlohcierekim Deleted? 07:14, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gromlakh did not stike your second keep. I did. Please refrain from personal attacks. I can see from your edit history that you have placed Three keeps. One is sufficient. We do not count votes AfD is not a vote. It is a discussion that seeks a consensus. You have not provided any inforation that suggests any notability. That is what you need. Speedy deletion of Image:DSRL-logo.jpg[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:DSRL-logo.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[Talk:Image:DSRL-logo.jpg|the article's talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Reverted additions[edit]

Please find sources for the information you have added to the Oreo article before you add it. Cheers. Seraphim♥ Whipp 23:55, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't add unsourced material again. I'm pretty sure that much information is a copyright infringement too. I have added back one section and have re-written it slightly. Seraphim♥ Whipp 00:36, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think that belongs there at all. The content needs to be deleted as unencyclopedic. Wikipedia is not a game guide, and the whole DSRL thing is just an ad campaign. Putting content from an article in which the consensus is likely to be "delete" is not the way go about editing Wikipedia. Dlohcierekim Deleted? 00:45, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Is that aimed at me? Feel free to take it out if it's unencyclopedic :). I did try to rewrite a small section of info (not the "rules of the game", which are surely copyvio) but I was still unsure. Seraphim♥ Whipp 00:52, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Seraphim. The last edit I saw was by you and looked OK. I'd nuke the whole thing, but I think you've got the right balance and sufficient nuance that we can keep. Lookin' good. Dlohcierekim Deleted? 01:03, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank-you :), glad to help. Seraphim♥ Whipp 01:08, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The recent edit you made to Oreo constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks. Party!Talk to me! 01:12, 7 February 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Red Sea. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Party!Talk to me! 01:13, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh please![edit]

An AfD does not go well for you so you result to vandalism. Please stop. Dlohcierekim Deleted? 01:15, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Pizza Hut. Party!Talk to me! 01:16, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
