Verma vs. Varma

[edit]

Greetings, please note that Verma and Varma are two different articles. The "spelling change" you're making is not simply a spelling change, it's directing readers to completely different articles. Please take a look at both articles and ensure you're sending readers to the right destination. MatthewVanitas (talk) 16:26, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Anoop Verma responds

[edit]

1. Not sure if this is the right way to respond to your suggestion above. If not, please let me know. 2. Those two articles are right in their own rights. The correction I suggested was in the context of the surname used by Kayathas. 3. Hope it clarifies.

Yes, you can reply here; general convention is that if someone posts on another's talkpage, the initiator will hit the "watch page" button so they'll see the response on their watchlist. So I have your page on Watchlist and will see any replies pop up. Do recall though, to sign at the end of each of your posts, by either hitting the "sign" button or typing ~ four times at the end.
Regarding content, so are you arguing that (spelling aside) that the article Verma or Varma contains the definition you mean to link to? Again, my concern is that you might be changing the spelling to Verma although the content you want is at Varma. Do you follow my concern? I just wasn't clear on your answer. I was just noting that when you change the spelling, you're changing entirely which article you're linking to, and wanted to be sure you understood your "new destination".
