May 2010[edit]

I would like to do an article on the site upoc.com.

Just added Witchcraft and Occult to my watchlist. I will be watching these pages to assure they are accurate, and no vandalism is done.

Non-notable book[edit]

Okay, I should have written something on your talk page when this first occurred, so I apologise for that. The way things work here is that someone boldly added the link, it was reverted, now the adding party should discuss the issue on the talk page. Consider WP:BRD. I asked for a third-party view on this book, to which Midnightblueowl wrote on my talk page that he agreed this book was non-notable. Now a third editor, Machine Elf 1735, has said the same thing. Instead of blindly re-adding it, you need to go to Talk:Wicca and make a case for the book being included here. The major problem is that it is self-published, and there is, to be honest, no evidence of notability. There are *dozens* of such books in print today, and we simply cannot list them all, nor should we. Huntster (t @ c) 19:34, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Great, but you also removed a whole chunk of the article that I did not revise over my spekking correction and falsely accused me. That is harassment.
Huh? I removed an unsourced addition by another user (which was not supported by the existing citation). I mentioned that in my edit summary. No false accusation at all. Huntster (t @ c) 19:53, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you seem to be completely uninterested in discussing the problem. I specifically mentioned I was reverting two different things: the addition of that book, and the addition of unsourced material. I never said you made the unsourced addition. Huntster (t @ c) 23:50, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:30, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to Wicca[edit]

Regarding your edits to the Wicca article, please bear in mind these two points:

  1. Please read this page about what constitutes vandalism.
  2. Constantly reinserting a favoured link or list item into an article could be considered edit warring. It is vital that you engage in discussion on the article's talk page to gain consensus. Forcing changes without such discussion has, in the past, resulted in articles being protected and/or editors being blocked to prevent disruption.

As a previously uninvolved administrator, I will start a discussion on the Wicca talk page; please join this discussion before you make any further changes to this article. Cheers in advance. – B.hoteptalk• 07:23, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
