Edits by banned contributors[edit]

Regarding this edit... According to banning policy, "Anyone is free to revert any edits made in violation of a ban, without giving any further reason and without regard to the three-revert rule". That user was indefinitely blocked and edited using an alternative account in violation of policy. Hence my removal. Could you please give me a reason, why the removed comments would be helpful for anyone? Please note that the comment was not about improvement of content, as suppose to be on the article talk page, but irrelevant soapboboxing and a personal attack. Oh no, that user was indefinitely blocked in February [1]. All edits they made from the new (sock) account fall under this policy. But you did not answer my question: what do you think was so valuable in his edits I removed? I said in edit summary: "if anyone needs it". So, why do you need it? Please realize that your actions are unusual. I have seen many users who remove or collapse irrelevant soapboxing on article talk pages, but never saw anyone who would edit war to restore such comments except the person who placed such comments himself. And you did not even edit this page or participated in discussion. I also noticed that you both edited the same obscure pages, one after another [2]. Then click on "Automatic" or "Manual"
For Manual: Choose the most appropriate template and fill in the details, then click "Insert"
For Automatic: Paste the URL or PMID/PMC and click "Generate" and if the article is available on PubMed Central, Citoid will populate a citation which can be inserted by clicking "Insert"

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mitragyna speciosa; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
