Ranini cundasawmy[edit]

Careful please with your speedy tagging of new articles: Ranini cundasawmy clearly asserts notability, including that she was a national sports champion etc. Thanks, Captain Conundrum (talk) 08:06, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry. I am getting started with CSD tagging and this is my first mistake. I can assure you mistakes won't happen again. Thanking you, Andrew. Andrew Stiff (talk) 08:37, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. BTW, I forgot to say thanks for your help with watching new pages.  :-) Captain Conundrum (talk) 10:48, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Eois[edit]

Hello Andrew, although I appreciate any help with page creation, please do it properly. You are listing Colombia for every species (which is false information), and the synonyms are wrong (also false information). Please actually check where the species is from and check the actual synonyms! Ruigeroeland (talk) 09:27, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oh. Well, I screwed up! Could you kindly go over the list of articles I've wrongly created? As for most of these types of articles, it is like a template- fill up a few info actually and it's correct. If you can, can you correct it? Andrew Stiff (talk) 09:30, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Will do, thanks! Ruigeroeland (talk) 09:32, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
And thanks for the treat! :) Ruigeroeland (talk) 09:38, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(ec)[edit]

Hey Andrew—

It looks like you accidentally squooshed away my vote at RFA in an edit conflict. The software is squirrelly and no hard feelings, fortunately I caught it, but please do try to watch out that you don't accidentally obliterate anything when edit conflict situations inevitably arise. Have a great day! —Tim //// Carrite (talk) 16:50, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Umm, will keep that in mind. Happy editing :) Andrew Stiff (talk) 04:11, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Bumrah Jaspreet.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Bumrah Jaspreet.jpeg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 00:20, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have unreviewed a page you curated[edit]

Hi, I'm Surfer43. I wanted to let you know that I saw the page you reviewed, L Legislature of the Mexican Congress, and have un-reviewed it again. If you have any questions, please ask them on my talk page. Thank you. Surfer43 (talk) 05:04, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. I think the article is now eligible to be marked curated. Andrew Stiff (talk) 05:11, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Jerba people[edit]

Hello Andrew Stiff. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Jerba people, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: There is sufficient context to identify the subject of the article. Thank you. ϢereSpielChequers 07:32, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Riphah International University, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Student union and International University (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of J.J. Virgin[edit]

The article J.J. Virgin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Self publicity. No objective evidence that this person is noteworthy.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
