Some stroopwafels for you![edit]

hi, sorry about the article. being subject of an article is a mixed blessing. it is mainly a summary of clippings. if you have anything you want to add, link it on the article talk page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Amy_Siskind - cheers Psyduck3 (talk) 22:12, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, thank you for starting it. I could use your help on something. This past week I put up a tweet which had an error in it and was taken down within 30 minutes. A political adversary - Ben Shapiro, a Trump supporter - got a copy of it and sought to discredit me through it and with that came tons of harassment on social media. Both Twitter and Facebook removed numerous accounts that were physically threatening me and/or sending hate language unacceptable for their platforms. Also as part of this, someone has added a para to my bio which is untrue. It wasn't a controversy picked up by the media or anyone other than the ban of trolls unleashed to harass me. I would appreciate it if you could assist in taking it down. Thank you.Amajack2 (talk) 17:31, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again. The trolls are back. Sorry to add to your work here - occupational hazard I suppose in the times we are in (Amajack2 (talk) 15:17, 8 August 2018 (UTC))[reply]
Hi! If Amajack2 is indeed Amy Siskind, her editing of the page is a "Conflict of interest" as detailed here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest. Furthermore, it doesn't matter if the author thinks someone posting content about her (that she does not agree with or does not want others to find out about) is a troll or not. What matters is the veracity and "relevance" of the information in the edits (which was well documented in the links). In addition, Amajack2 claims the tweets were taken down within half an hour. Not sure if this kind of argument matters here (as opposed to other more relevant factors, like her "claims" reaching thousands of people, or more) but I checked the Internet archives for the tweet from June 2017 (e.g.: http://archive.is/Fkvh9 ) which was available for 3-4 hours (at least) and got more than 6.7k likes and more than 4.4k retweets. Lastly there are plenty of Wikipedia pages for singers, writers, politicians, reporters, etc detailing their various offensive or inflammatory tweets (even when those tweets have been taken down, like in the cases of e.g.: Jason Biggs, CeeLo Green, etc)

Hello, I'm PolicyReformer. I noticed that in this edit to Amy Siskind, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. --Policy Reformer(c) 23:50, 14 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this is Amy Siskind. Thank you for reaching out. The additional information added relates to a single tweet sent and removed within 30 minutes because it was in error. A political adversary has seized on, and been trying to use it to smear me. The cited blog post is the website of Ben Shapiro, a Trump supporter and adversary seeking to smear me. The harassment has been on several social media platforms, and Twitter and Facebook have removed accounts for threatening me or writing hateful language. Since this is simply a tweet, and an effort to undermine me, it should not be a part of my content. Thank you. Amajack2 (talk) 00:08, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again - can use help from an editor for a newbie here. A troll has added a factually incorrect para to this page, mischaracterizing situations and sighting unreliable sources. Thank you in advance! Amajack2 (talk) 02:03, 15 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
