My addition is not an effort to "lighten up" the debate. Abstention from sexual intercourse is contraception when one abstains solely for the purpose of preventing birth. The point is, the argument that gametes possess the same potential as fetuses entails that even the most drastic means of contraception--abstention--is equally as evil as abortion. My addition is intended to point out the flaw in the argument, not to be funny. Alligator_gar
