Maryland Route 565 map[edit]

There is an error in the map for Maryland Route 565. The northern part of the route heads too far north on Washington Street in Easton. The correct routing can be seen in the map in the Talbot County HLR. Dough4872 (talk) 17:49, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Changed. Is it correct now? - Algorerhythms (talk) 13:30, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Better. Dough4872 (talk) 17:34, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

College Park INterchange[edit]

On this infobox can we include MD non-neutral shields; on MD shields cannot be use on any routeboxes period. long time ago; I try to include MD state-ane speicfic on all hgihways even icons; but somebody took them out. Isn't MD non-nuetral shields still commonly exist on i-70; 81; 83? or just I-95 and I-97. To me I estimate it literally as mix shield type; interstate-guide might estimate in distinctive method.--Freewayguy Msg USC 00:55, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

US-6 Utah map[edit]

Thanks for making Image:U.S. Route 6 in Utah map.png. There's a minor error; US-6 has been rerouted to overlap I-15. --NE2 05:03, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's changed so it shows US 6 following I-15 now. - Algorerhythms (talk) 05:14, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your FLC[edit]

Hi Algorerhythms. Your current FLC List of numbered highways in Maryland has yet to receive any support but is a day or so overdue. Since I've given Buc a couple of extra days (as of Thursday last week) to turn comment or oppose to support, I'll give you until tomorrow morning to gain some support before I archive it. Feel free to let the reviewers know the situation and ask them to revisit. All the best, The Rambling Man (talk) 14:37, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've posted to each of the reviewers talk pages. - Algorerhythms (talk) 16:32, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I saw that! Good luck. But no worries if it doesn't get there this time, just re-nom when you've got the support of the reviewers and you'll fly through next time. The Rambling Man (talk) 16:34, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Looking for a map[edit]

Hey - I know that there is the maps task force, but I was wondering if I could get assistance with a map for User:Admrboltz/uthighways, which I plan to make like your List of numbered highways in MD. If you can help, it would be appreciated! --Admrb♉ltz (tclog) 20:36, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I can do that this evening. Do you want it with or without shields? - Algorerhythms (talk) 22:00, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Could I possibly see it both ways? I think shields would work, but if its too cluttered, then no. --Admrb♉ltz (tclog) 22:03, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I could upload both. The routes are pretty spread out in Utah, so clutter probably won't be a problem. - Algorerhythms (talk) 22:19, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
My only concern is the downtown cluster of I-15/I-80/I-215. --Admrb♉ltz (tclog) 22:23, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Without shields: Image:Utah Interstates and U.S. highways map.png, With shields: Image:Utah Interstates and U.S. highways map with shields.png. The map with shields is somewhat cluttered., especially with the U.S. highway shields, but I think either will work. - Algorerhythms (talk) 22:57, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I like the one with shields, but the shield-less one works better in the page. --Admrb♉ltz (tclog) 23:29, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nice job with the map, but there's a couple of things wrong with it.

 • US-91 doesn't exist anymore in the extreme southwestern corner of the state
 • There's a small stub of US-40 north of Heber City that isn't part of the highway system anymore
 • There's another remnant of US-91 by Parowan

I hope this isn't too much. Again, good job with the map :) CL — 19:07, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've uploaded a new version of the map. Also, I've noticed that the naming of the lists has come up. Originally, the "List of numbered highways in Maryland" contained a section with a main article template that linked to the state route section. This was done since the list of state routes was ridiculously long (I'm not certain off-hand how many routes there are, but according to mdroads, if you include former routes, there have been 841 numbers assigned.) At FLC, they asked me to remove the section on state highways, though, so I did, which is why the naming scheme for the MD lists no longer makes sense. So I wouldn't really consider Maryland a good example to follow when naming your list(s). - Algorerhythms (talk) 23:39, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yea, and I would like to take my list to FLC, but you are right, if I were to add all the state routes (including 100 or so that are serving parks and facilities only) then FLC would laugh and tell me to nix them. What are your thoughts on a new name, as List of Interstate highways and U.S. Routes in Utah seems... long. --Admrb♉ltz (tclog) 23:54, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That name might work, though it is a little long. Maybe compressing it a bit, like "List of Interstate and U.S. highways in Utah" might help. - Algorerhythms (talk) 00:04, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Lets see what CL has to say, but I like that better, and I know NE2 wasn't thrilled with the name. --Admrb♉ltz (tclog) 00:09, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Maryland Route 334 map[edit]

I noticed an error in the map for Maryland Route 334. The route does not exist west of Maryland Route 322. Dough4872 (talk) 19:15, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Changed. - Algorerhythms (talk) 20:53, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your assessments[edit]

Hey, I'm just curious as to why you gave this article a B-class rating and this article a C-class rating. The former is roughly five times longer yet has only a slightly longer route description. Just wondering - CL — 03:42, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure, actually... I think maybe the UT 48 one should actually be B. - Algorerhythms (talk) 05:13, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I removed WROG from the Template:Country Radio Stations in Maryland because it left the airwaves on July 31st, 2008. So, while it was a country station, it isn't anymore. Though I do understand the addition of WROG to the template and I actually debated whether or not to remove it. Take Care...NeutralHomerTalk 02:49, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I had added it before reading the article and didn't know about that. - Algorerhythms (talk) 02:52, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. I haven't the slightly clue why WROG's owner would give up it's current massive coverage area, for some tiny little area in Chambersburg. Just doesn't make sense. Oh well :) Take Care and Have a Great Weekend...NeutralHomerTalk 03:16, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Map for SR-103[edit]

Out of curiosity, why does the map only show a couple of state routes through the area (like SR-26) but not the rest (like SR-126)? CL — 23:23, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't able to find an official GIS data file for Utah, so I used the NHPN data, which leaves out a lot of state routes. - Algorerhythms (talk) 23:30, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, try [1] it looks more promising than the info we found last night --Admrb♉ltz (tclog) 00:38, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, can you look at this map again, and see if we can make the red line actually go to the AFB? Can can you slap shields on it too? As well as "Clearfield" and "Hill AFB"? Thanks! (These were suggestions from the PR) --Admrboltz (talk) 20:45, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Categories: Maryland (Western) and Maryland (Central)[edit]

Algorerhythms, I do not wish to be picky but your classifications of Western and Central are too broad, I believe. I would prefer to see them listed as "Western 1" and "Western 2" as in the Maryland Department of Transportations "Interactive Mapping" dropdown box as seen here. When you couple Frederick and Hagerstown into a category CENTRAL, it is very misleading since both communities are generally believed to be located more western than the central communities surrounding Baltimore. Thanks. Hag2 (talk) 16:14, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, the naming of the two Alt US 40 pages that isn't that great, considering Washington County is usually considered part of western Maryland. The other option I had considered at the time was "U.S. Route 40 Alternate (Garrett and Allegany Counties, Maryland)" and "U.S. Route 40 Alternate (Washington and Frederick Counties, Maryland)", though I decided against this naming scheme as too long. I don't think a "Western 1"/"Western 2" naming pattern would be clear enough, though. I suppose "U.S. Route 40 Alternate (Garrett/Allegany)" and "U.S. Route 40 Alternate (Washington/Frederick)" could work, though in the case of the Hagerstown to Frederick route, this naming scheme doesn't make it clear that it's referring to the counties rather than the cities of Frederick and Washington. I think I'll leave a message on the Maryland Roads Wikiproject talk page to get some more input into what the best naming pattern would be. - Algorerhythms (talk) 16:40, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

66.66 violeates the MOS[edit]

Thanks for noticing 66.66 violates the MOS by adding blue, white plates to every highway shields. Not only he does this to I-240 (OK) article but mass tons of others. I'm not dealing with this issue because I'm sick of 3RRs. I do not enjoy undoing changes, this is why Wikipedia is not safe.--I-405 (Freeway) 02:20, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Savage Mountain[edit]

Updated DYK query On 10 September, 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Savage Mountain, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Maryland Route 675 map[edit]

There is an error in the map for Maryland Route 675. The route does not consist of the southernmost section shown in Pocomoke City. This segment is U.S. Route 13 Business. Dough4872 (talk) 14:17, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The map has been fixed. - Algorerhythms (talk) 14:44, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Buffalo/Niagara Falls Road System[edit]

Thanks for the maps! Much appreciated. Ngs61 (talk) 17:48, 25 September 2008 (UTC) Could you please fix the shield error on Image:Buffalo area road network map.png. The lower I-290 shield is where a I-90/Thwy Trailblazer should be. Thanks,Ngs61 (talk) 16:03, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ack. Reshielded. - Algorerhythms (talk) 06:40, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Belated barnstar[edit]

The Utah State Highways Barnstar
I realized I never properly thanked you for reviewing Interstate 215; without you, I would have waited much longer for a reviewer to oversee the article. So here's a belated barnstar CL — 05:02, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
