Speedy deletion nomination of Puebla International Conducting Workshop

Promotional editing and conflict of interest

I don't know what you think the word "promotion" means, but I see that at Talk:Puebla International Conducting Workshop you wrote "This page is not unambiguously promotional, because..." and then proceeded to give a clear account of the fact that you did intend the page to be promotional. Writing "to show the world the quality and wisdom of hispanic musicians" is writing to promote their reputation; writing "to invite people from around the globe to be cultured by this wonderful musical experience" is writing to publicise and promote that "musical experience". You comment "if we fill the minimum register people who can pay a whole fee" also suggests that part of your purpose may be encouraging people to sign up and pay the fee, which again is promotion. Such writing for promotion is not permitted by Wikipedia policy.
It is clear from what you say that you are personally involved in the "Puebla International Conducting Workshop". That being so, Wikipedia's guideline on conflict of interest indicates that you should not be creating an article about it. The main reason for that is that it is often very difficult, and sometimes impossible, for a person with such a personal involvement in a subject to write about that subject from a neutral point of view, as required for Wikipedia. Also, if your editing forms all or part of work for which you are paid, the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use require you state who is the employer, client, etc who is paying you, and your precise relationship to them.

You are very welcome to start contributing in a neutral way on subjects for which you do not have a conflict of interest, but if your only purpose here is to tell people how wonderful your workshop is and to encourage them to attend, then Wikipedia is not the right place to do it.
