I am 87 years old, so please respect me.

If you leave any shit here, you will be reported. Do not remove this please. I mean it.

Request reason:

That is very disrespectful as I fought in a war for all of you! I am trying to improve the wiki but you don't give me a chance! Why can't I have a chance?

Decline reason:

Sir, respect on Wikipedia is earned. Due to the nature of our site, we have no idea if you are a decorated war veteran, or in fact some teenager in his basement. If you wish to be respected, then you must in turn treat our articles and editors with respect. I do not see that you have been doing so, and so decline to unblock you. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You should maintain a neutral point of view when you edit. This is an encyclopedia, not a place for opinions. --Σ talkcontribs 00:18, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It is not just about neutrality, this user demands respect but offers none to anybody else. He has posted outright abusive messages on somebody's talk page and also filed an entirely spurious ARV report against another user who did nothing wrong. I have no idea if he really is an 87 year old war veteran, all I know is that he is not acting with the dignity I would expect from such a person and also that he edits some articles that an 87 year old would be incredibly unlikely to take an interest in. --DanielRigal (talk) 00:24, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You know what, Fuck Wikipedia.
