A welcome from Sango123[edit]

Hello, Alchie1, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy Wiki-ing!

Chemical compounds[edit]

Dear Alchie, I have to inform you that an encyclopedia article about a chemical compound should contain more information than just a formula for a reaction which produces it. If you have more information about them (but NOT copy-and-pasted contents of a website, this would violate copyright laws and Wikipedia policies), please go ahead and include them in the articles. Otherwise, they'll likely get deleted soon.

Sincerely, Mike Rosoft 16:47, 16 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Image[edit]

I thank you for the contribution of Image:Brucine.gif, but I am afraid Wikipedia cannot use an image unless its source and copyright status are mentioned on the image description page. Could you please correct this problem?

Thank you, Mike Rosoft 17:04, 16 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Update[edit]

I have noted that at least some of the images you have uploaded have come from http://biopsychiatry.com/. I am afraid Wikipedia cannot use these images, unless the site's administrators have allowed their use (under GFDL licence). It is both against Wikipedia policies and against the law to use copyrighted material without the author's permission.

Mike Rosoft 17:56, 16 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I have to notify you once again on Image:Amobarbital.gif: it contains no information on its copyright status. Presumedly, you have created the image yourself and want to release it in public domain (just like the rest of your uploaded images). Right?
Thanks, Mike Rosoft 20:48, 31 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

File:Clobazam.gif missing description details[edit]

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:Clobazam.gif is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors to make better use of the image, and it will be more informative for readers.
