Outrageous Fortune cast pages

[edit]

I didn't delete anything. I'm not an administrator. However, McWomble tagged the original four articles you created for the NZ cast, Cheryl West, Jethro West, Ted West, Wolf West, and Van West, for possible deletion through the Articles for Deletion process, which you really should read up on. The AFD process is a discussion about whether or not the articles are significant enough and meet the notability and other requirements for Wikipedia articles. Nothing has been deleted yet -- the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cheryl West is still going on, and you should participate there and discuss why you think the articles should stay. Yelling at me about alleged US-bias isn't going to help the article stay -- reasoned discussion based on Wikipedia notability and significance requirements might.
Please note that the articles should remain tagged with the AFD tags during the discussion -- moving the articles is a bad idea, and removing the tags is forbidden while the discussion is ongoing -- please consider yourself warned -- it is likely that removing the tags again could get you blocked for disruption.
Also, the way you moved the articles, giving them names with slashes, created sub-articles, which is generally not allowed in the Wikipedia main article space. If the AFD process determines that the articles should remain, they'll be kept under the original names -- people who want to find the articles can find them through the main Outrageous Fortune (TV series) article. -- ArglebargleIV (talk) 17:31, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Furthermore, please note that there are many notable television shows, from all around the world including the US of A, which have articles but do not have articles for the individual characters -- that's not a mark against the series, it's just that not all main characters in a tv series are significant enough by themselves to have character articles. Nothing to do with alleged US-bias. -- ArglebargleIV (talk) 17:36, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
