Orphaned non-free media (File:Cartoon Network.jpeg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Cartoon Network.jpeg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:36, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Urdu Wikipedia[edit]

Dear friend,

You seem to be an active Wikipedian from Pakistan. We have an Urdu Wikipedia that needs all the help that it can get. Currently, we do not have many active users and we will really appreciate if you would consider becoming an active contributor. As you are already familiar with Wikipedia's style and rules, your presence would also help elevate the overall content quality.

Hope to see you soon at Urdu Wikipedia

Judge Me Tender[edit]

The reason you saw Judge Me Tender early on Youtube, is because the episodes of Disney Channel shows are always available one week early on Disney On Demand. The airdate for regualar Disney Channel viewers is the date that was listed (October 18, 2009). So the date is correct and your info is true, however not the official airdate that you propsed. - Alec2011 (talk) 19:48, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WP:TOON rollcall[edit]

Hello Adyniz, it's been a while huh? You might remember adding your interest to work as part of the Cartoon Network Wikiproject here, since you did this there has been very little activity with few to none of the members participating or have been idle for some time and as such may be mothballing the Wikiproject as inactive. I'm going over the list for WP:TOON and need to know if you wish to still be a member. I know you mightn't have edited in some time (at least through this account) but I'll wait until 5th January 2010 to see whether or not you still wish to be a part of this or not. If you don't respond to this notice specifically by mentioning it at WT:TOON (not my talkpage or here, I won't be watchlisting talkpages) or removing your name from the list I'll assume you are no longer interested and will remove your name. Hope you decide to work here again. treelo radda 18:14, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Adyniz. I noticed you created an RfA page some time ago. I was wondering as to what the status of that RfA might be. Please let me know if you still intend to run for adminship with that RfA; otherwise, I'll go ahead and delete it for you in about a week or so from today. Your RfA[edit]

I'm sorry, but it looks like your RfA has virtually no chance of passing this time around. I think the best course of action right now would be for you to withdraw it. If you want to withdraw, simply leave a note either here or at the RfA page. If not, it will be left open, but I'm going to be honest with you that it will not pass at this point. I would not be discouraged, though, as many admins have had their first RfAs fail in a similar fashion to yours. (X! · talk)  · @241  ·  04:47, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Winx Club[edit]

Since you are a Muslim and working for Wikiproject Islam, I believe you can answer this question: what is the Islamic view of Winx Club? I think there may be some criticism on women's involvement (as main characters), magic as a plot device, clothing/fashion (well, they are even naked (literally!) when transforming themselves), and some sex appeals (There are some chance to see some upskirts. I can see some female characters do some poses copying some sexy poses, some sex positions and sexual moans. Episode 26 of season 1 even had shown Bloom's "behind" when Icy chases Bloom arround lake) or something. But I want to hear from you. -- 221.165.100.241 (talk) 08:28, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I don't want to talk anything about it. Don't take me wrong or rudeIsh but please I just don't like to be a part of a big dispute (not yet, but can be later on). I know there can be a big conversation over it and it will ultimately take a shape of big fight (believe me buddy, happened earlier a lot of times). So, it's better not to touch any such thing. I hope that you can understand. However, I would like to give a brief answer here. You are absolutely right about that nudity thing, it is totally unethical in islam. Anyway, if you want to anything specific then feel free to ask. Thank you. ♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 12:42, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Iris[edit]

Please provide a source that clearly states that the character whose name is written in Japanese as "アイリス" is called "Iris" in the English alphabet. I'm not disputing that the show is called "Best Wishes!" because that is what is clearly written in the show's logo. I have yet to see any sort of concrete information that names the female protagonist in the new series as "Iris". Otherwise, naming her such is original research.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 02:19, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Provide a proper citation for the advertisement. Apparently some rules lawyer thinks that the image isn't good enough. --70.134.48.188 (talk) 22:19, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Images are not references ever. However the advertisement is, but such an item cannot be sourced.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 23:00, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't knew about that image-reference thingy, I thought it was a good idea to provide it as a reference. Thanks for the help. ♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 23:44, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The four episodes you added are not currently supported by any verifiable sources because the October Newtype issue has not been released. All we have is the airdate on the official website. From now on, be sure that the magazine you are citing has been released, rather than leaks posted on Serebii or Bulbapedia.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 04:47, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I DO have a STRONG and that magazine has already been released (it was already released when I added those titles). One more thing, DO NOT UNDO MY EDITS just because I haven't mentioned the reference. I explained that I'll add reference later because MAGAZINE comes first then they update their site. Thank you. ♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 18:02, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, here's where you are wrong with a lot of things. I don't know where you're pulling "Shooti" from. Because Shooti.com isn't a real website; it's just some BUY THIS DOMAIN NOW thing. And "Shooti.jp" is just some unrelated website (besides, his name is rendered as Shūtī). Also, as this is currently the page on the Japanese episodes, we should use the Japanese names. New format for a new series. And the only dub name on the top of the page is "Satoshi (Ash Ketchum)". "Iris", "Dent", and "Shooty" are all merely translations of the original Japanese names.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 01:32, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Also, per this edit, what part of DO NOT USE MAGAZINE SCANS AS SOURCES did you not understand? You have no clue what magazine that is or where that image comes from. Wikipedia does not need to report on new episodes over a month in advance. Wait till episode 4 airs and episode 5's title is officially revealed. If you can't use it as a reliable source in the article, you cannot use the information it contains anyway.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 01:40, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What the heck! I provided wiki a VALID MAGAZINE SCAN. There is NO NEED OF BEING SO JERK with it, it's not like I have vandalized the article. ♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 07:51, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Master of Illusions[edit]

Don't move the page unless you have something other than a poster someone found on eBay. I'd be more inclined to believe that this is the dub title of the film if Serebii had also reported on it, but even then they're not a reliable source. Wait for the film to be promoted on Cartoon Network first.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 08:14, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A random photo leak? Huh... EBAY revealed it few days ago and EBAY not a reliable source? It is a fan site if ya know what I mean. Come on! ♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 08:41, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
eBay is not a reliable source. Deal with it.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 17:49, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Romanization of Japanese[edit]

The English Wikipedia has very specific rules for romanizing Japanese. "Bousou Pendora! Kibago wo Sukue!" is not how we do it. It should be "Bōsō Pendorā! Kibago o Sukue!" instead. Please read WP:MOS-JA before adding romaji to any page, again.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 02:14, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I'll.♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 10:57, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Black & White[edit]

Do not add content to Wikipedia without a reliable source. The 3 photos you showed me do not count as a reliable source because we cannot name the publication that any of those photos (not scans) come from we cannot report on any of the information contained within them. On February 2, we will add information on the next episode, and by then all of the reliable sources will catch up with what you want to update. Until then, you will abide by the rules of this website and your experience on whatever other Wiki you claim is not worth jack shit here.—Ryulong (竜龙) 06:37, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Whoa, that attitude, those kind words and all caps rage, way to go man. I have the right to bitch, after all it's Wikipedia,

Cartoon Network Pakistan[edit]

No, it is not such. Even Cartoon Network India plays programs, which are the mixture of Hindi and Urdu largely relying on Urdu but they refer it as Hindi. You asked to read the references, I've already read them before and read the one again you particularly mentioned. It didn't clearly mention that Cartoon Network Pakistan was playing Hindi programs. If you're a Pakistani, you should know that in some parts of the country upto May 2011, most cable operators were playing Cartoon Network India instead of Cartoon Network Pakistan, and it was the PEMRA that enforced switching to Cartoon Network Pakistan.

It was not only I who did so. I think it has been done by two to three users also, whom revisions you reverted based on your own opinion. Maybe your are the kind of person who loves Hindi (if you're Pakistani) and uses Hindi words to differentiate yourself among the mass. But note it, since it has been specifically designed for Pakistani viewers (a reference also says), it's still better to use word Urdu for it. Ever watched Hindi News Channels or Urdu News Channels? Compare them and learn the difference between Hindi and Urdu. If Cartoon Network were to use Standard Hindi, none in Pakistan and some parts of India would have understood it.

The reference talks about other Indian channels in whole, due to which Pakistani channels were being ignored since Cable Operators cannot afford large number of channels to afford and when there is no DTH service here. You can open DISCUSSIONinstead of reverting. I'm going to revert them now. --S.M.Samee (talk) 10:49, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Are you kidding me? Have you EVER watched the shows on Cartoon Network? Take Pokemon for example, the attack "Jald Akramand", "Chupee Shakti", "Juaala Choro" etc. sounds Urdu to you? And it is not just with Pokemon but with a lot of other shows. Also, the reference article clearly states that the channel is available in Hindi dub. I would suggest you to read it again. PEMRA did not accuse cable operators for airing CN India, but accused CN Pakistan for airing shows in Hindi. Let me just quote it for you from this news article:
"Cartoon Network and National Geographic of Hindi versions had been switched to English versions on the Pemra's instructions."
Anyway, I have a perfect solution for this problem. That should do it. ♫♪AdyNiz♪♫ 11:33, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think you're kidding me!!! I did say that CN uses the mixture Hindi & Urdu and largely relying on Urdu. Yes, I do watch CN regularly. In Beyblade, they used the word 'KONZERN KHANDAN' and it belongs to Urdu. Does it seem Hindi to you? In Ben 10, they used the word 'Barish' (Hindi: Varsha), Chandni Raat these both are in Urdu. In Dragon Ball Z Kai, someone said 'Vegeta tum hi hamari akhri umeed ho' that should be in Hindi as ANTIM ASHA. There are various examples to quote. Anyhow, you've solved the problem to an extent and that's why we should let it now. --S.M.Samee (talk) 17:49, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Are you an Indian or Pakistani Wikipedian? If so, Could you help find the Hindi voice dubbing actors to other characters from the Pokémon anime such as Misty, Officer Jenny, Nurse Joy or even Ritchie? And another thing, do they even have separate Hindi and Urdu dubs for the anime? I do know that there also exists Tamil and Telugu dubs with different voice actors for each language respectively.

I won't mind helping out with the Hindi dub VAs, I have been looking for them for years but haven't got any satisfactory results except for the ones we already have, i.e Ash, Brock, James etc. And they use the same Hindi dub over here. Hello sir,I owe your contribution to Bulbapedia. I have remixed and dubbed some of theme song of Pokemon in Hindi/Urdu.Here's the links:

I just want to know that is this illegal and comes under the copyright violation. Please answer quickly.-- User:Usman Khalil 15:15, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If I remember correctly, a lot of fandub videos have gotten a copyright strike on the video sharing sites in the past. So, as far as the video is concerned, I do think it comes under the copyright violation. I am not so sure about the audio, since it has your own/original voice but the background music is taken from the instrumental version of the respective song, if I'm not wrong. Pokemon Episodes In Hindi[edit]

Is there any way to watch Pokemon episodes in Hindi dub.I have got an idea which might be applicable.Firstly we should record the audio of episodes from channel(Pogo is currently airing Pokemon Galactic Battles). As you know Pokemon episodes in English are frequently available online. So we will merge the audio and video by completely turning off the video's voice. We can do this easily by Ulead Video Studios.Do you think this can be done?Usman Khalil 07:15, 23 May 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Usman Khalil (talkcontribs)
