Your article
[edit]First of all, thanks for the barnstar, I appreciate it. However, looking at your article, I see you chose to move it to mainspace yourself even though it still seems to be too soon, your company is only 2 years old and it seems there's still simply not enough news sources. How you currently composed the current article is unfortunately promotional and will have to be deleted because of that. Keep to mind that advertising is not allowed here and articles must have a non-promotional tone, consider adding news sources that actually talk about the company, note that press releases or trivial passing mentions are not acceptable. I will also note that, happening to look at your username, it suggests you may be an employee or otherwise connected to company which also makes me think this article may be for advertising uses. If so, I would sincerely suggest you simply let the company continue with its business before considering a Wikipedia article. If you have any questions, please ask. [edit]Hi, thanks for message. You can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. It was not a good idea to move from draft without it being assessed there. Also, when you move to article space, you need "(article)", not "Wikipedia" as your target. The title should be just "Crownit", and in any case Ltd, Pvt, LLC and the like are not included in titles.
I deleted your article because
- it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the company, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company claims or interviewing its management. You gave two references, but they were just reporting your man promoting his product, not RS sources
- it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. You just keep telling us what you claim the app does, with no verifiable data to show how it meets the notability criteria. Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: At present, the app is driving GMV worth 40 Crore per month
- the article was created in a single edit without wikilinks or references, and looks as if was copied from an unknown and possibly copyrighted source. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient. But in any case the copyrighted text is far too promotional to be useful for Wikipedia's purposes, so there would not be any point in your jumping through all the hoops that are required.
Note also the comments by SwisterTwister above. Before you try again, make sure you can satisfy our notability criteria, and look at related article to get an idea of structure and tone Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:55, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
- I made these edits, please ask if you don't understand any of them.
- You had no links to other wikipedia articles, I've added a few, but there should be more
- Your introduction should summarise the article, but it only says what the app claims to do, which looks spammy and doesn't show why it is notable. You need to mention the funding and the partnership with OYO in your lead because they are facts that support notability
- Decide between INR and Rs
- Please check for spammy words, I noticed "lucrative" after I did my edit, which is non-neutral
- When you have done that, you can either wait for a reviewer or move to article space, but note that if you chose the latter it is the higher risk route Jimfbleak - talk to me? 16:34, 29 June 2016 (UTC)
