How to do that[edit]

I removed your thread at the stormy Daniels talk page because you're promoting a non-RS youtube video blog (that was 4 hours old and only had 30 views when I looked at it). If you can draft some WP:NPOV compliant text using WP:RS-compliant sources to propose article improvements, by all means! But a naked link to an unuseable source won't get you far. Here are some relevant P&G under which I removed that thread WP:RSPYT WP:COLLAPSENO, citing anti-promotional policies

We will need to give fair treatment to criticism of Stormy, I'm all for it. But that YT vid ain't useable. You might be able to look to the things cited in that vid, find the originals, and then write your own original text withing our policies and guidelines. That would be useful! Thank you so much for taking the time to give me such a detailed explanation and for your advice. I appreciate it. A Horse Fly Fleas (talk) 12:29, 20 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

May 2024[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. I was talking about how to improve Libs of TikTok. A Horse Fly Fleas (talk) 12:54, 20 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You were clearly just using that as a fig leaf to share your opinions about the subject of the article, and that is not what talk pages are for. You've been doing this on other talk pages as well. Wikipedia isn't social media. MrOllie (talk) 12:58, 20 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It seems to me that that article is more of an opinion piece than a statement of actual facts. But I understand your point about my comments on the talk page (other than including the external link, which I still think is a good idea). A Horse Fly Fleas (talk) 18:56, 20 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you think an article is biased that's fine and see WP:SOFIXIT, but take care you don't go trying to WP:RIGHTGREATWRONGS. When in doubt, refrain from fighting and ask for help at the WP:POVN NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) 01:19, 21 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
