March 2017[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that in this edit to Zita Martins, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 21:03, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Your identity[edit]

You do realize that I have no idea who you are. You are identified here by an IP address and anyone could have an email address such as the one you gave me. Wikipedia (and I) want articles to be accurate. Please understand that the article is about Zita Martins, but is not Zita Martins' article. It is on Wikipedia's server and its content needs to abide by Wikipedia wp:policy (and wp:biography of living persons (BLP)). Information on BLPs need to be carefully wp:cited see help:referencing for beginners and help:footnotes Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 21:26, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Jim1138: Thank you for the reply. Your comment is absolutely correct and I agree with you. Ok, I will try to prove things: 1. the Award is "Officer of the Military Order of Saint James of the Sword" and not just "Military Order of Saint James of the Sword". The year (which was missing) is 2015. All this is on the link http://www.ordens.presidencia.pt/?idc=153&list=1 The date is clearly showing and the "O" stands for Officer. 2. the degree from Instituto Superior Tecnico is a 5-year undergraduate degree (and not a BSc). The link is here http://www.imperial.ac.uk/people/z.martins clearly showing a 5 year degree from 1997 to 2002 3. I sign as Zita Martins This is all over the internet: http://www.imperial.ac.uk/people/z.martins Or https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=X_iJLx0AAAAJ

Hope this is clear now. And thank you again for your comment and patience. 95.95.65.30 (talk) 21:43, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please feel free to update the information on the article. See help:referencing for beginners and help:footnotes. There should be other references on the article that you can copy the format. They begin with "<ref>" and end with "</ref>". Some may have "<ref name= (some text)>" or "<ref name= (some text) />" The named refs are for "reuse". (ignore the nowiki stuff BTW). Thank for the note! Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 22:09, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
