May 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Me Da Wikipedian. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Also, please do not make your edits over (101!) revisions, as that is really annoying to look through Me Da Wikipedian (talk) 11:00, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

To You Da Wikipedian
I haven't provided any reliable sources yet as I was still working on tidying up & re-balancing a rather messy & male-orientated & over-US centric webpage. I had not finished. Nothing was deleted, rather text was edited for better explanation & clarification with more diverse examples linked through to the respective webpages. In many of the edits, these relate to simply bullet-pointing the examples instead of leaving the confused comma-separated ones that are much less legible. The examples were also improved in pairing to the source material too. There are also a number of types for which no description or examples exist, that I was remedying.
As the webpage was a nexus for many webpages - i.e. it is a listing page the issue of citations is tied more to the linked pages.
I work by editing a paragraph or two at a time before publishing to the public again. So it leads to a long list of edits. Al you need to do is go to the final one to see all the changes.
I would like if you would republish my emendments - if you consider my corrections & clarifications from my last edit - you will see that it is much improved and as stated before, I had not finished. Please read the corrections before being over enthusiastic on slapping a halt. 94.196.112.179 (talk) 11:42, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
By any chance was this an automated slap halt to the editing after tripping over 100 revisions?
The 1st 4 lines appear to be a pro-forma notice with you adding the final sentence in italics on spotting the number of edit revisions. Instead of launching / allowing it to launch this slap, how about instead of checking the emendments in what has actually been published. 94.196.112.179 (talk) 11:50, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
