Dear user, the manufacturer (TSMC) does not have any 4nm fabrication process, as it has been proven by official sources. Their next manufacturing process (3nm) is still not ramping up. A16 is fabbed on their enhanced N5 technology - N4, which is different from "4 nm" ("N" <> "nm"). Wikipedia articles are written based on scientific information, and not industry propaganda. Hi, you are right about the Apple event! They really mentioned that the A16 is the first "4nm" chip in a smartphone. However, this was inaccurate/misleading information or industry propaganda, acceptable for commercial purposes (would the public understand if they said "N4 process technology"? 4nm is still a think tho. It's not "inacurate" since the other manufacturers have it. When you think about there has to be something inbetween 5 and 3... thats 4 :)

Hey, the same goes for Intel: Raptor Lake. "Intel 7" is not necessarily a 7nm manufacturing process. All Wikipedia articles have been structured this way since then. I'm also an Apple user and I appreciate all their achievements. However, we need to prioritize scientific sources and follow patterns established by Wikipedia community. Hello! I have added the 4nm thing in both templates, so now I hope the information is more accurate, although is a commercial name. Please have a look at 5 nm process#5 nm process nodes - all have the same dimensions (Transistor gate pitch), the reason why it is commonly referred to as a enhanced version of N5 tech, and not a new node. Actually the "Display engine" is not new. It exists in past A chips aswell. It seems it's just modified/improved to support those features.
