Information icon Hello, I'm J991. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Alton Towers, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. J991 15:29, 6 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I live in the UK, we all know Duel has closed as of today - confirmed by ride creation team and a side pinned to the outside of the ride. We don't need a source as backup to know it won't be open tomorrow. I wouldn't edit it if it wasn't closed. 86.29.177.141 (talk) 17:47, 6 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's literally an official marketing email for god sake. We all know its returning because we actually live in the UK and see staff training happening. 86.29.177.141 (talk) 08:39, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Nemesis: Sub-Terra, you may be blocked from editing. Emails and unpublished websites are not reliable sources. Find a reliable source that publishes information about the reopening, if that's truly happening, and reference it as an inline citation. It is an email FROM Alton Towers, Jesus Christ! Do you even live in the UK? There is active work going on there every day. You don’t replace a queue line, paint a building, test all elements of the ride, train up staff, renew a trademark, have a ride page waiting to go active for nothing. This “find a reliable source” is genuinely ridiculous. The “unpublished website” is the official Alton Towers Resort website. Guess I’ll just wait for the page to have to be edited when it opens imminently then. My editing of the page was saving someone else a job. Block me from editing, I don’t care. Suit yourself 86.29.177.141 (talk) 12:45, 12 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In this edit, you specifically wrote, "The page is on the Alton Towers website, but is not yet active." One of the core policies on Wikipedia is Verifiability, meaning any editor can verify the claim. If the page was not yet active, then it wasn't verifiable, thus violating a core policy. Also keep in mind that this is an encyclopedia, not a newspaper per WP:NOTNEWS. Wikipedia doesn't need to live on the edge of the curve inhabited by breaking news. Rumor and speculation, even if correct, has no place here. --GoneIn60 (talk) 11:29, 24 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You've been warned numerous times now about adding unsourced information to articles, which you did yet again in this edit. It is way past time for you to heed these warnings and understand that you are expected to cite reliable sources for edits like that one. If you're not sure about something or need assistance, ask for help and/or begin a new discussion on the article's talk page. --GoneIn60 (talk) 03:58, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The edit was accurate lmfao, I live in the UK and Rita was temporarily closed for around a week when I made that edit. If I'm editing something on the Alton Towers page, it's because I know it's 100% factual. 86.29.177.141 (talk) 12:03, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
