Information icon Hello, I'm CodeTalker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Defibrillation, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CodeTalker (talk) 22:20, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Defibrillation, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. See WP:MEDRS. CodeTalker (talk) 20:17, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

So I can't add primary sources that aren't standing by themselves and are in concordance with evident knowledge?

The source should be enough as there is no need to cite several sources. Or am I wrong and I need to link up 10 or more independant sources? 84.58.249.189 (talk) 07:45, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Since Defibrillation is an article related to biomedicine, the rules of WP:MEDRS apply. You would need good secondary sources, not primary sources, to support the information you want to add. Furthermore, you cited a paper on researchgate. That site is not considered a reliable source, even for non-medical-related topics; see WP:RSP. CodeTalker (talk) 21:38, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So would it be enough to cite other pubmed sources from other authors and actual IEC standards which contain the necessary information? How do I combine them in a source?84.58.249.189 (talk) 07:58, 24 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
