Welcome![edit]
Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:

Overlinking[edit]
Hello. Could I respectfully recommend that you please have a look at MOS:OVERLINK, which cautions us against putting too many links into an article. I feel that some of your edits, where you have linked words like divorce and biography, may actually or nearly fall foul of this. I am not an admin and my view carries no weight, however. I just thought you might find it a useful heads-up. With all good wishes, DBaK (talk) 09:39, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thankyou for your helpful advice. 79.77.88.155 (talk) 20:51, 23 May 2024 (UTC)
- Indeed. New Orleans is a major geographical feature so does not need a link where you added it at the George Francis Train article. Graham87 (talk) 09:58, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
