Welcome!
[edit]Hello! I noticed your contributions to Affordance and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:

[edit]Hello, I'm Nexovia. I noticed that you recently removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - That was *clearly* not sandbox activity. Welcome to Wikipedia, but after just 250 edits you should reconsider your quickness to revert another editor’s contributions, doing new contribution patrol or not. If you looked, several comprehensive edits to the plot were also made with the same summary edit summary, “Copyedit“. Which is what they are.
- Rather than reverting someone, try contacting them at their talk page (like you have here) or the article’s talk page to discuss their edit with them. Which will give them a chance to further explain that cited or not, the fact that the film was character actor Eugene Pallete’s last appearance is not important enough to include in the article lead of even a minor film like this.
- Also, it will help for you to familiarize yourself when the website imdb.com is regarded as a suitable reference at Wikipedia and not. Thank you. 73.17.4.18 (talk) 02:00, 24 November 2023 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
