Help me!
[edit]Please use the {{help me}} template appropriately. The {{help me}} template is for help in using Wikipedia, not for unrelated issues. If you would like to ask such a question, replace the code {{help me-inappropriate}} on this page with {{help me}} to reactivate the help request. Alternatively, you can also ask your question at the Teahouse, the help desk, or join Wikipedia's Live Help IRC channel to get real-time assistance. |

- I can't tell what you were blocked from, but it's not the English Wikipedia, and we cannot help with other websites. Huon (talk) 01:50, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
- (e/c) Just as with your question at the Wikipedia help desk, you are not giving us the most basic information to know what you're talking about in order to answer your question. What Wikipedia page did you try to edit and by what user name did you use when editing it? We can't know what you're taking about because you are editing from an IP address whose only edits we can see are the ones where you've asked your question. If you have an account, and it is blocked, what is the name of the account? If you never had an account, then whatever IP address you used has changed (IP addresses can be dynamic, switching even over the course of hours). We are not mind readers. Imagine if you got a telephone answering machine message from someone you did not recognize and they said why did you block me from X, but never told you their name or return number and you had no idea what they were talking about. That's you.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 01:52, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
