Information icon Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Detroit, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and/or verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Replacing with vandalism doesn't help. You should start a talk page discussion if you want ~11k bytes removed... WhoAteMyButter (📬✏️) 04:53, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Detroit issue, August 2020

[edit]

You need to start a discussion on Detroit's talk page before making edits as large as --14k. You should explain why the entire section is a) racist and b) does not belong on Wikipedia. Making reversions and edits solely is not the way. WhoAteMyButter (📬✏️) 05:05, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring definition: Wikipedia:Edit warring
It's not an issue of verity, it's an issue of procedure. You haven't given any evidence or valid reason for the blanking. WhoAteMyButter (📬✏️) 05:18, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
And you will be blocked (and therefore simply lose your voice altogether) if you make another edit that is edit-warring of it. DMacks (talk) 06:03, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Ron Behagen has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 20:56, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Bill Musselman. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Isabelle 🔔 21:08, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm CommanderWaterford. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Charles Adair (soccer)—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. CommanderWaterford (talk) 08:30, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Rdp060707. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Charles Adair (soccer), but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ----Rdp060707|talk 08:41, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. The key word is "sourced". Content cited to a reliable source cannot be removed simply because you don't believe it / don't like it, per WP:NOR. If you want those phrases gone, find better sources that support your view, or explain why the current sources are invalid / unreliable. Leijurv (talk) 06:08, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Lost Cause of the Confederacy. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Laplorfill (talk) 06:17, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Anonymous users from this IP address have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring, as done at Lost Cause of the Confederacy.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Ashleyyoursmile! 06:40, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, content you added to Leopoldo Luque appears to be a minority or fringe viewpoint, and appears to have given undue weight to this minority viewpoint, and has been reverted. To maintain a neutral point of view, an idea that is not broadly supported by scholarship in its field must not be given undue weight in an article about a mainstream idea. Feel free to use the article's talk page to discuss this, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
