Put-in-Bay[edit]

Hi,I see you're placing some links in the Put-in-Bay,_Ohio article to commercial web pages that deal in advertising to visitors. Unfortunately, Wikipedia doesn't allow commercial links like this. [1] Persistently linking to one's own site is considered Vandalism and can result in sanctions. [2]

Your stance of either being an original contributor to the article or restoring the article to the writer's original content is not valid. At the bottom of every edit box, there is the following sentence: "If you do not want your writing to be edited mercilessly and redistributed at will, do not submit it." Please see ownership of articles.

On a personal note, someone looking for places to stay in Put-in-Bay will not research Wikipedia for that information. Wikipedia is not known for its great links to commercial sites. More likely, people turn to Wikipedia when they need demographic and historical information on a place. I think your time could be better spent promoting these sites elsewhere.

I invite you to help us avoid an edit war, and join us at the discussion page. -- Norvy (talk) 00:18, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- June 29, 2005 16:00 (UTC)

Shut UP!!!Please, you only make yourself look stupid with this kind of garbage - 64.12.117.13 9 July 2005 18:35 (UTC)

Freedom of Speech[edit]

Per WP:NOT, Wikipedia is not a democracy, and your rights are not protected by the 1st amendment. I suggest you review your property laws, as Wikipedia is a privately owned entity. Furthermore, adding nonsense to Wikipedia will result in it being deleted, and possibly in a block being placed on this IP adress so that you can no longer edit. Please modify your behaviour accordingly. --Scimitar 9 July 2005 18:46 (UTC)

I'm not following, is this some kind of a greeting letter you send to noobies? is there a reson it looks so disorganized?

Blocked[edit]

This IP has been blocked for 15 minutes for your repeated disruption to the reference desk. As for your question, Venus looks sort of cream yellow, and its year is about 243 225 days. --HappyCamper 21:18, 13 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I found more material to help you out on the reference desk. Check it out when you get a chance! --HappyCamper 22:32, 13 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

RE: [3] [4] [5] Please do not keep undoing other people's edits without discussing them first. This is considered impolite and unproductive. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert an article to a previous version more than three times in 24 hours. Thomas the Tank Engine[edit]

Could you please explain the dozens of edits you're making on Thomas and Friends - Season 2? If you're going to make so many edits, do it all as one edit, please, instead of dozens of them.--Metros232 21:51, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. However, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thanks again. --Metros232 22:39, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
