That would be true if it were indicating overtime in a parenthetical after the score e.g. 24—27(OT). But that's not the situation. Instead it's using an asterisk to fully explain as in a footnote. It defeats the purpose of an explanatory footnote because we might as well just use (OT). --DB1729^talk 22:55, 8 May 2024 (UTC)
