Baby step forward! Use <ref> tags to add citations; this will add an item to the reference list automatically. The citation should include things like the name of the author, publisher, etc.. Use one of the helper templates and fill out the fields (Help:Referencing_for_beginners#RefToolbar for some of the templates); don't use URLs.
