IP, what sensible person would prefer, generalised, in-exact, imprecise info to PRECISE, sourced information about someone's ancestry? Many black Americans have no knowledge of their ancestry, or are very 'intermarried'. What advantage is their in imposing that on someone who DOES or DID know their heritage? Would it be better to describe Robert de Niro as 'European-American', simply because some or many European-American don't know where they came from? Does the source used describe Robeson as Igbo?
