November 2020[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. -- Luk talk 23:28, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi 2603:9000:FF00:A7:1927:4C3A:3389:CF0B, the guy that was in this Source (https://www.memri.org/jttm/video-aqap-security-official-ibrahim-abu-salih-stresses-importance-safeguarding-information) is "Ibrahim Abu Salih" not Ibrahim Muhammad Salih al-Banna (also known as Abu Ayman al-Masri). Also his death was confirmed by the Syrian observatory for human rights and and when he was killed, he was living in Syria. His death was confirmed by Abu Mohammad al-Julani. Also so many arab news confirmed his death (including the Yemeni news and the Syrian news). Here, read (https://www.longwarjournal.org/tags/ibrahim-abu-salih) to understand that Ibrahim Abu Salih (also known as Abu al Hassan al Hashimi) is different from Ibrahim Muhammad Salih al-Banna (also known as Abu Ayman al-Masri). Hope you understand. Kiro Bassem (talk) 20:35, 24 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Ghazi Nasr Al-Din. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. CommanderWaterford (talk) 13:12, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Ibrahim Muhammad Salih al-Banna, you may be blocked from editing. CommanderWaterford (talk) 13:12, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. Hi 2603:9000:FF00:A7:1927:4C3A:3389:CF0B, I'm sorry for reverting your edits on Ibrahim Muhammad Salih al-Banna. It turned out that you were right. I'm sorry bro. Kiro Bassem (talk) 15:13, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

hello. Your edit to Scott Peterson was reverted because the cited source did not support the information you changed. The NBC News article cited at the end of the passage in question indicates that the hearing in question was scheduled for October 6, and not December. If this is incorrect, or if you have sources providing an update to this, please make sure they accompany your changes to the article. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 16:04, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
