Don't post on my talkpage

[edit]

I presume this is the same user that keeps having a few edits with each IP address, some of which seem to always be frivolous RFDs. Stop posting on my talkpage- this applies to any IP address that you use, and stop harassing me by nominating random RFDs of mine, when you're not doing anything else. User:Joseph2302 WP:NOBAN is explicit that you can not ban someone from your talk page to avoid administrative notices. Furthermore, it clearly states that such requests are not to be made lightly, and in examining the history of my postings to your page I have determined that I have made four edits to your user talk page, all of them to place administrative notices, namely 1 CSD notice, and 3 RFD notices.
The RFDs are clearly not frivolous because in all of them multiple other members of the community have agreed that your redirects were poorly targeted, in the case of one RFD to what are nearly SNOW levels. And FWIW the CSD was acted upon. Of course you may appeal these decisions at DRV at any time, but the fact you have not done so suggests you are well aware that none of these are frivolous and were merely hoping that amidst all my other RFDs I'd lose track of the ones you've created and thus be bullied into thinking I'd made some error, which to be fair might have worked if not for the fact you decided to combine it with a bizarre complaint about your user talk page. Since I always place the required notices it was trivial to tell which pages that you created I had nominated.
If you continue to create poorly targeted redirects, then the chance remains that I will notice them as part of my creation log checks, and I have no intention of checking the author of redirects before nominating them. Simply put, if you don't want people to nominate your poorly targeted redirects for RFD, the solution is to stop creating poorly targeted redirects. Regardless no one has harassed you, but you are making diffless WP:ASPERSIONS in the post above. In the future either provide diffs with your complaints, or make them in projectspace. 2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:8566:450E:405A:135B (talk) 21:05, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
100% you are allowed to tell people to stop posting on your talkpage. And also to stop pinging you. So never ping me again either. Both of these apply to any IP address or account you use. Joseph2302 (talk) 08:59, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Joseph2302: not true, read WP:NOBAN, you don't like pings feel free to mute them in your preferences. 2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:48FA:964F:4A78:DB97 (talk) 15:04, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And why are the only RFDs you're starting on contributions I've made? It gives the appearance that you are targetting me, so would like an explanation on why that isn't the case (presuming it isn't deliberate). Joseph2302 (talk) 09:07, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not true, not even remotely accurate and again made without diffs almost bordering on paranoia.
I've nominated more redirects in a single batch, than I have of those you have created in toto. That still holds true even if you toss in the speedy deletion. Sometimes I've nominated two redirects made by the same person on the same day. I will not respond to false evidenceless accusations and WP:ASPERSIONS indefinitely. Provide evidence or prepared to be ignored, put up or shut up, and learn policy while you are at it.
You want to make more false diffless accusations then do so in projectspace, just do not be surprised if that goes poorly.
You want to make more poorly targeted redirects? I do not care, just don't act surprised and aggrieved when I or someone else lists them at RFD. Don't like having your redirects listed at RFD? Then stop making poorly targeted redirects. 2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:48FA:964F:4A78:DB97 (talk) 15:05, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
From WP:NOBAN: If an editor asks you not to edit their user pages, such requests should, within reason, be respected. Please respect this, and stop misquoting guidelines. I accept that you have nominated other redirects too (with other IP addresses I'm not aware of), but I do not required template notifications for CSD/RFD on my talkpage. Joseph2302 (talk) 15:14, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And yet "editors should not make such requests lightly, especially concerning their talk pages, as doing so can impede the ordinary communication" further "a user cannot avoid administrator attention or notices and communications that policies or guidelines require to be posted merely by demanding their talk page not be posted to" the policy is clear, required notices go on your talk page. If I fail to place them I could open myself up to actually legit harassment claims since I would be unfairly withholding notifications from you and only you.
You have not provided "good reason" for the request as I have placed only required notifications. Further even if you had good reason I would still have to place those notices. I noticed you have not even tried to ban Tavix who has only done the exact same thing as me. Your options are these (1) provide diffs showing harassment, (2) stop making diffless ASPERSIONS and wikilawering so you can set up the grounds for a legit harassment complaint later by pointing out that required notifications were not left (3) move your complaints to projectspace, although as previously explained, that is unlikely to end well for you. 2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:48FA:964F:4A78:DB97 (talk) 15:26, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
