Please refer to the National Hurricane Center's Tropical Cyclone Report for Hurricane Ida's death toll. On pages 11 and 12 they state 55 direct deaths and 32 indirect deaths in the United States and 20 indirect deaths in Venezuela. The discrepancy could be from miscalculations in operational reports, duplicated deaths, or deaths from unrelated events being attributed to Ida. ~ Cyclonebiskit (chat) 07:25, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
