The above article is not about communities based on existing municipal boundaries, former municipalities using their former boundaries, or any other potential community boundaries that may exist. - To assist in understanding the concept, here is a map of the Halifax population centre as defined by StatCan, which includes both the former cities of Halifax and Dartmouth, the former Town of Bedford, and other built-up adjacent areas within the former Municipality of the County of Halifax.
