Regarding edits made to Cytoplasm

[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, 209.137.175.59! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule \bexample\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 21:57, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to User talk:209.137.175.59, you will be blocked. --TeckWizParlateContribs@ 23:10, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice

Hello there, there seems to be some confusion. IP talk pages should rarily blanked. This is due to many IPs being shared ones. Edits made by this IP may not always be your own and may constitute vandalism. An edit like the one made just recently to User:Blnguyen is considered vandalism. Yet an edit you made to Black sheep (term) was mistakenly reverted by me and was done in good faith by you. So please allow the warnings to stay in cases were vandalism occurs such as the instances noted above. Hope this helps.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 23:15, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Response to your comment left on my talk page: No, as I and TechWiz told you, its better not to blank your talk page. The warnings that are legitimate should remain there to indicate whether an IP has vandalized. Fortunately it seems that your IP has had rare occurences of vandalism. So this should not worry you too much. For now allow the talk page to be left alone and continue contributing as you wish. I suggest creating an account for yourself to avoid these kind of messes and edit off a clean record. Regards,¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 23:23, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please read WP:3RR. This is the standard warning, please discontinue blanking your page, other people edit from this IP.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 23:53, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Several reports to AIV

[edit]

I've removed all reports by and regarding this user from AIV -- it looks to me like this may have been a misunderstanding, and I'm not convinced that any party in this dispute has been engaging in simple vandalism. If people really insist on keeping this going, there's always WP:AN/I, but please be advised that I'd prefer we all just went our seperate ways and acted like calm people. – Luna Santin (talk) 00:27, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User talk page warnings

[edit]

Please do not remove warnings from this page. This is not "your" page but a page for an IP which may be used by multiple users. Such warnings serve both to help deter vandals and to keep track of their activities.

If you wish your own personal userpage where you can post what you wish largely undisturbed, please create an account.

I have removed your inappropriate 3RR violation reports from the 3RR page. Those users were acting in good faith to enforce Wikipedia policies.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Gamaliel 00:45, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I'm not trolling an obvious look at my history will only show that I've done edits that are well within the limits of the wikipedia policies and I've even apollogized when I've been a jerk (Persian Poet Gal). I've even asked for clarity as to why I can not edit my wikipedia user talk page in a manner I see fit. I was then accused of trolling please I can do so much good, please get control of these admin's that have gone so bad.

Decline reason:

I'm sorry, I simply don't see evidence of you acting civilly recently. -- Yamla 18:10, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing Wikipedia as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 05:21, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

IP addresses are NOT user accounts. Any IP address may be used by more than one person. IP Address talk pages are used to keep track of all edits made from that IP address. If anyone wants to create an account they are invited to do so. It is free, and creating an account will avoid getting these messages. Furthermore, no one "owns" any page at Wikipedia even user pages and talk pages. --Jayron32 05:27, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This IP address simply wants someone to write a definitive rule on user pages. The pure absurdity of this entire matter of being block makes this IP address feel distressed and wonder about current trends in human egocentrism (especially the egocentrism and (if may be added) audacity and pure puerile nature of administrators)--Socko123 05:45, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I'm glad you're enjoying contributing to Wikipedia, there's always need for more editors. I'd like to encourage you to get an account, since, as you unfortunately found out, editing as an anon from a shared IP, some users might misinterpret or sometimes even disregard your contributions. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on David Berlinski. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. Thank you. Ronbo76 04:05, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You need to re-read 3RR. You have exceeded your allowed number of edits. You do not have consensus to continue editting this article. Please stop, or you will be blocked. Ronbo76 05:26, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I too have responded to this anonymous IP. THis anon IP's banner, attached to Valley Forge Christian College, along with your usage of the word, psuedoscience, are very telling. Your revisionist deletions of properly cited material affect the Wikipedia:Neutral point of view of this article. You may wish to examine your bias. Ronbo76 04:27, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Accusations of vandalism aside, you practically begged John Reaves to block you. I don't think that your edits to Berlinski were outright vandalism, but there is definitely a pattern of tendentious editing and some may perceive that as disruption. Here's some advice: get an account and discuss proposed changes to controversial articles on the talk page. Commenting from an anonymous IP is, sadly, equivalent to being adorned with a scarlet letter. Also, if you tone down the aggressiveness and exasperation, I think you'll find editors more accommodating and reasonable in disputes. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 19:28, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
