Thank you for referencing my work on your Tubuai page, however your link does not go to the introduction of the article nor mention my site from which it has been taken [1] I would like to mention your statement "The island has been inhabited for more than 2000 years". Many years ago I might have agreed with this however modern research seems to suggest that it might not be even 1000 years, most Pacific Archaeologists would not accept your statement. On my [2] I show a radiocarbon date from my own research [3] please look through my Atiahara and Implementology sites you are welcome to reference anything you find there as well as use my photos. The finds from Atiahara are truly spectacular and ranks this location as one of the most important archaeological sites in French Polynesia, the finds show a direct and irrefutable link to the early settlements of New Zealand now believed to have occurred around 1280 AD [4] identical reel ornaments and whale tooth pendants as well as stone tools are found in Tubuai, and particularly at Atiahara Tahitilink (talk) 09:51, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
