Questions[edit]

Looking at your username, I am wondering whether you are an official representative of the 1st BCT or if you are an independent editor? If you are an official representative, we may wish to get a name change for you that way you can comply with community standards.

Other wise, way to Be Bold!!!!!! Could you please add a citation to a link that way we can verify that material which you added? Thanks much, and if you need any help doing anything contact me on my talk page. Sadads (talk) 20:38, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would like you to examine WP:COI and WP:Username please. There are ways around the conflict of interest, but I think you need to come to come at these issues with those things in mind first. Contact me when you think you understand it. Sadads (talk) 20:37, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
you are right, after reading this policy, I do see it as a conflict of interst. I will have to close this account and restart with a different username if necessary. thank you.1BCTIRONHORSE (talk) 15:11, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
How about we get your username changed. Go through the process at Wikipedia:Changing username, that way you can keep your edit history and other account data. Sadads (talk) 15:15, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Scott L Efflandt has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. — Timneu22 · talk 17:37, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division (United States) has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fort-Hood-TX/IRONHORSE-BCT/194101230213?ref=sgm.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 15:16, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

By standard policy we do not allow links to facebook, but if you want to add the homepage of your unit, we would really appreciate that, Sadads (talk) 15:37, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
