Think outside the box. ADV Films did distribute NGE series on home video and on demand via The Anime Network in the past. You do realize Sony bought Ellation right? Ellation was the holding company of Crunchyroll, VRV owned by AT&T. So technically speaking, Ellation licensed KonoSuba which was ended up into Funimation's hands. Funimation has been using the Crunchyroll name for global recognition from the now dead Ellation.

Dragon Ball and One Piece are no exception. The anime series are licensed by Toei Animation itself for home video distribution, streaming, dub production. In the case of Dragon Ball Super, CR/Funimation has the limited home video and streaming rights sublicensed from Toei USA like OP. OkraTron 5000 dub it on behalf of Toei USA. All Gundam series are licensed by Sunrise but CR in Coppell has only the dub, streaming and home video rights to TWFM. This is how licensing works. One Piece has been Toei's all along,
