Classicwiki Many thanks you very much for your kind response. I have a registered account but since I am very curious and I consult Wikipedia often, when I see a small outdated, I correct it without entering the account. I have noticed that although the Clupeiformes page has cataloged the different families of clupeoidei that have separated from clupeidae (to leave only the true herrings, so to speak), but then in the specific species of those families they continue to be described as clupeids, both in the introduction and the taxonomy of the data. I don't know if there is a large consensus on this, or if some biologists still consider these families within Clupeidae. But I have corrected it to follow a coherence between the article that encompasses the group, so that it is easy to navigate through the taxonomy without encountering blocked paths. It is a lot of work because there are many species, I would be delighted if more people would help me. But thank you for your kindness and not ruining my editions for making them without registering. 188.78.178.144 (talk) 10:37, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
