[edit]Hello, I'm CLCStudent. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they did not appear constructive. - Hi CLCStudent. Are you going to explain how fixing grammar errors and clarifying things is not constructive or am I just supposed to guess what you mean? 172.58.35.53 (talk) 19:07, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
- The thing is that the way you worded it did not sound good. It should be left as ".....is not included in the bible" instead of "Christians do not include". CLCStudent (talk) 19:32, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
- It doesn't say "is not included in the Bible", it says "have not been included in the Bible" and there is a request for clarification by whom. I clarified, that it was Christians who chose not to include these texts in the Bible. If more clarification is needed, say so. We can put "the early church" if that's more clear. Furthermore, they are classified as apocryphal by ALL Christian denominations. There is not a single church in this world that accepts these documents as canon, not one. And again, even if there was an issue with changing the passive "have not been included" into the active "did not include", then why did you remove the rest of the grammar fixes? I'm going to integrate our discussion into the article, assuming that I have answered your concerns. Perhaps English is not your first language, but changing the passive tense into the active sense which I have done is always considered an excellent improvement. 172.58.35.53 (talk) 19:58, 19 January 2021 (UTC)
