May 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Iggy the Swan. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Harvey Barnes, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. The player was not in the squad that day so the BBC reference you've added does not support the claim he was honoured in the FA Cup in 2021. The hidden comment, which reads "<!--- Barnes was not in the matchday squad for the 2021 FA Cup final - please do not add the 2020/21 FA Cup without an independent reliable source which states that he received a medal -->" should be of use as well. The hidden comment is from Mattythewhite. I hope Iggy The Swan advises him not to add comments to the wikipedia page 123.27.189.232 (talk) 14:40, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Mattythewhite edited Wikipedia incorrectly, so I had to edit it again. 123.27.189.232 (talk) 14:44, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Harvey Barnes played 2 matches in the FA Cup season 2020-21 for Leicester City and scored 1 goal. However, an injury sustained in a 3–1 loss to Arsenal on 28 February 2021 prevented him from appearing in the later rounds of the 2020–21 FA Cup, which Leicester won by beating Chelsea 1–0 at Wembley Stadium in the final on 15 May. 123.27.189.232 (talk) 14:28, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further formal warnings, the next time you add references which don't support the content on Wikipedia, as you did at Henning Berg. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 09:52, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Berg missed the 1999 FA Cup Final and the 1999 UEFA Champions League Final through injury, but still picked up a medal for both, having been involved in most of the team's matches on the way to the final. You need read this article 123.27.189.232 (talk) 14:20, 15 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
