- ′′Vanities of the world are transient...′′
- SWAMI VIVEKANANDA
Even in the lowest kinds of attraction there is the germ of divine love. One of the names of the Lord in Sanskrit is 'Hari', and this means that 'He attracts all things to Himself.' ...To love because it is the nature of love to love is undeniably the highest and the most unselfish of love that may be seen in the world.
- SWAMI VIVEKANANDA
The Madagascar stonechat (Saxicola sibilla) is a species of stonechat endemic to Madagascar. It is a small bird, closely similar to the African stonechat in both plumage and behaviour, but distinguished from it by the more extensive black on the throat and minimal orange-red on the upper breast of the males. This male Madagascar stonechat perching on a branch was photographed in Analamazaotra National Park, near Andasibe.Photograph credit: Charles J. Sharp
*Rungs of Love At first one loves only when one is loved. Next, one loves spontaneously, but one wants to be loved in return. Then one loves even if one is not loved, but one still wants one's love to be accepted. And finally one loves purely and simply, without any other need or joy than that of loving. - Mirra Alfassa
- To wish for perfection for the loved one, and to feel pure joy in thinking of that soul, is divine love; and that is the love of true friendship.
- Paramhansa Yogananda
- We are prone by habit to look at things only in combination of what others have observed. The most insignificant thing has a little unknown element in it. We must find it.
~Maupassant
